What is dog tag for?
Military identification tags, the most widely known as "dog tags", originated during the American Civil War. It is a small sign prepared to facilitate the identification of casualties on the battlefield and to understand necessary basic medical-related information such as blood type, vaccination history and religious beliefs. Modern identification tags are usually made of metals that are resistant to wear and corrosion.
